Woodland Scenics E-Z Water can be difficult to use but Vasilis Georgandis has used it to great effect in the two projects presented here.
This piece was specially made for the GW Dundee store, so it had to be pretty robust and stand up to lots of play. It combines 3 basic techniques, (hills, rivers and plants) to make a more interesting scene.
The subject piece is a rocky mountain for my Pacific Island jungle. The idea was to create a significant break separating a native village from a town and port on the opposite side of the island.
There are a few ways to make rocks. These are amongst the easiest - chunks of styrofoam drybrushed and based.
These rock spires are a favourite of mine - easy and cheap to make, useful in game play, and suitable for all the game systems!
