Another painting session out of the house this week. I’ve had the urge to paint something seriously. It’s a long time since I painted anything to the best of my ability – especially recently. So here’s the start of a Blood Angel Terminator from the Space Hulk box. So far the method has been very simple… aaround 10 layers of GW Blood Red building up the highlights.

As my painting comrade Stef has already mentioned in his WIP Sunday post, we spent the day round a friend’s house painting. Not quite made Sunday with my WIP Sunday this week as I’ve been painting at a friend’s house and only just got home, but here’s a shot of what I’ve been working on! Managed to get the blue on 6 Skinks and made a start on their bases too. The blue for these is very simple – a combination of ink and drybrushing. Enchanted Blue basecoat followed by an Asurmen Blue wash. They are then Drybrushed Enchanted Blue, 50:50 mix of Enchanted Blue and Ice Blue before a final Ice Blue.
