By the myriad deities, divine entities and secularly worshiped icons of piety it has been some time since of the MiniPainters team did any blogging, February in fact!
I would have been back sooner but a sandwich that once belonged to Cooper had mutated and I had to battle tooth and salivating appendage with the beast before I could wrestle my way into the office (This of course is completely fictional…we don’t have an office), it was a tough battle that lasted many a moon but that is a tale for another day.
Well I have been racking my brain trying to think of things too write about for the site. At the weekend looking through the various forums, sites and painting community sites. Looking at some suburb painters that are out there got me thinking several things
Over the past few weeks I have been in the midst of building a new Chaos Warriors army, now normally I do this through a process of constructing army list upon army list slowly eliminating those that are unplayable until only a handful lists remain from which I choose the best – but not this time.
Stef prefers a buy what is cool and mould that into a workable force method, Cooper combines the army list method with what looks cool, Spencer picks a theme and holds on to it die hard to the end even if his vision was rose tinted.
Unfortunately no progress with the terminator this week, mainly due to working on this commission job – some of the new beastmen minis. I’m looking forward to getting back onto the blood angel once these are done! continue reading »
